Our 6 nights 7 days Indelible Spiti Valley Tour aims to showcase the real beauty of Spiti so that you can take in every essence of the place.

We start our trip from Manali, which is a resort town lying  in the Beas River Valley and it was once an ancient trade route to Ladakh. Manali now has a new image now, it is one of the best holiday destinations to travel in India, whether it be for families, couples or groups of friends.

From Manali, we head off to Kaza, which is the gateway to Hikkim which houses the highest Post Office in the world, and you may send a letter to a dear one from there if you like. You should also stop at the Key monastery which is at 12 KM from Kaza. Along with its historical importance, the Tibetan monastery provides a panoramic view. At
Langza, get ready to be awed at the massive Golden Buddha statue which overlooks Langza. Komic, is one of the highest motorable villages in the world, which makes it one of a kind location. 

Other notable locations include Tabo, which houses a 1000 years old monastery, declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Gue Village brings back the memories of the Hollywood movie “The Mummy” as Gue has a real life remains of a mummy which dates back to 500 years.

Nako is a small village near the border of India and Tibet. The place is famous for its lake and 1000 years old Monastery. You can experience calm and serene surroundings at this place. 

Chandratal lake is one of the most beautiful high altitude saline lakes in the world at an altitude of 4300mts. The lake is surrounded by lofty mountain peaks and the lake’s strikingly clear greenish blue water is sure to take your heart away.

Itinerary

Pick up from Manali and proceeding for Hotel Check-in. Since Spiti Valley is on 12,500 Feet so it is strictly advised to relax & acclimatize your body today to avoid chances of AMS.
Take full day rest & gear up for upcoming journeys. Dinner and Overnight Stay in Manali.

<span>Day 2</span>Manali to Kaza (203 kms, 9 hrs of Drive)

Today we start early from Manali. On our first day, we will be crossing 2 of the major passes, Rohtang and Kunzum Pass and also the Bada Darra and Chota Darra. Darras are seasonal streams(nalas) formed due to the melting of snow & Glacier and also rainfall.
After a long journey, we reach Kaza by late evening.
Evening will be at Leisure. We will go for a stroll in the local market and trying the local food in the cafes. There are few shops in Kaza main market wherein you can buy some local handicraft.
Dinner and overnight stay at Kaza.

Start our day after breakfast and start sightseeing Our first stop will be Langza (Fossil Village), famous for the big Buddha Statue & Fossils of marine creatures and plants, visit en route Komic and 18 km from Kaza. Spend some time at Komic, the highest inhabited village in the world. Get clicking with the locals and spend some time at the monastery. Later start your journey to Hikkim, the highest post office in the world, which is about 5 km from Komic. Send postcards to your near and dear ones. In evening head back to Kaza.
Dinner and Night stay at Kaza.

After breakfast we'll be visiting Kungri Monastery in Pin valley and then head towards Mud Village. We'll also be visiting 1021 years old Tabo Monastery, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After Lunch, we'll be going to Gue Village, which houses a 500 yearsold mummy.

We'll be ending our day at Dhankar and visiting Dhankar Monastery. In evening head back to Kaza.
Dinner and overnight stay at Kaza.

After breakfast you will head towards Nako. Our First stop will be Tabo - We'll also be visiting 1021 years old Tabo Monastery, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with golden temple and Tabo Cave's. Later on you will pass trough Sumdo - This is the village where Kinnaur valley ends. Continue your journey to Nako..
Nako is a small village near the border of India and Tibet. The place is famous for its lake and 1000 years old Monastery. You will explore Nako with its thousand year old Nako monastery and footprints of Lord Padmasambhava and try some photography in a small man-made lake - Nako lake.
In evening head back to Kaza. Have your dinner and overnight stay in Kaza.

Head towards one of the most scenic lakes in India, i.e., Chandra Tal also called as Moon Lake via Kunzum Pass and Losar. The lake is beautiful, surrounded by mountains and is situated at an altitude of 4300 meters. Enjoy the views, get yourself clicked with the lake and spend some leisure time. En Route we'll be stopping at Kee Monastery which is the largest monastery in the entire Spiti Valley. We'll also be visiting Kibber, which is one of the highest motorable village in the world and Chicham Khas Bridge which isthe highest bridge in Asia at a height of 13,500 + fts.
Return to the campsite before sunset and if the skies are clear, wait for an amazing sunset on CB12 ( Chandra Bhagha 12).
Dinner and overnight stay in camps at Chandra Taal.

Today is the last day of our tour and we will start for Manali early in the morning after breakfast. You will be dropped Manali by afternoon.
