Varkala is a commercial, industrial, and tourism centre in the Thiruvananthapuram district, situated in the Indian state of Kerala. Varkala is the only place in Kerala where cliffs are found adjacent to the Arabian Sea. Varkala is a great place to beat the crowds and go into calm and beautiful surroundings.
Kanyakumari or Cape Comorin is a town in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. This is known as ‘End of India’. One feels a sense of accomplishment on making it to the tip of the subcontinent’s ‘V’, past the Western Ghats and the green fields and hills. Kanyakumari almost feels surreal, because some times of year you’ll see the sun set and the moon rise over three seas (Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean) simultaneously which makes up for a unique and mind-bending experience.
