It won’t get better than Kerala if you are looking to spend some time exploring South India. The state of Kerala is blessed with picturesque beauty that is located in the tropical Malabar Coast of India and the backwaters of Kerala are a perfect place to unwind in the midst of swaying palm trees and spice plantations.
This 3 nights 4 days Munnar and Thekkady starts from the city of Cochin.
Munnar is also known as the ‘Kashmir of South India’. It is famous for its lush green forests, spectacular tea estates, blankets of mist & craggy peaks and exotic varieties of flora & fauna. It is also home to some of the endangered species of animals like Neelakurinji and Nilgiri Tahr. It is South India’s largest tea growing region, where you can see a thousand shades of green and also the clouds up above the mountaintops which takes you closer to being amazed and awestruck by it.
Thekkady is a town in Kerala which is famous for Periyar National Park, located near Kerala-Tamil Nadu Border. It is one of the finest wildlife reserves in India and spread across the entire district are picturesque plantations and hill towns. The place is also famous for its spice and coffee plantations.
The best time to visit Kerala is during its winter season between September to March. This is the time when Kerala has a comfortable climate and pleasant weather with less humidity.

Arrival at Kochi International Airport/Railway station and transfer to Munnar. It will take approximately 4 hours to reach Munnar, enroute visit one of the most magnificent waterfalls of Kerala - Cheyyappara Waterfalls and Valara Waterfall . In this beautiful journey of Munnar you will pass through the Pothamedu View Point, beautiful tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers and lush green hills. On arrival check into the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
After breakfast explore the Munnar City.

You will visit Eco Point, Kundala Lake, Tea Gardens, Tea Museum (Monday Closed), Eravikulam National Park(This is decided on ground as per the availability and rush) and Mattupetty Lake & Dam. In evening back to your hotel. Overnight stay in Munnar hotel.
After breakfast head towards Thekkady. It's a 3 hours short journey. En route you will visit Pothameda View Point, Attukad Waterfall and Elephant Junction.
On arrival check in to your hotel. After check-in formalities you will visit
Periyar National Park and Periyar Lake. You can enjoy here an Elephant ride through a small spice plantation. If time allows visit Gavi Village. In the evening back to your hotel. Overnight stay in hotel.
After breakfast you will drop to Cochin International Airport/Railway station.
