This 4 nights and 5 days trip to Escapade Bir Barot trip starts from Bir. Bir is a small town in Himachal Pradesh and Billing which is 15 Km away from Bir and makes up for a 42-minute trek, is the center for adventurous activities. Trekking and Paragliding in Bir Billing are the two main adventure sports that Bir Billing is famous for around the country and the world.
Bir Billing has its own set of stories about how the paragliding actually started in the place. If we go by what the local guides claim then it was started by a guy who was interested in paragliding and made his first paraglider using torn polythene pieces and rags.
There is a heavy Tibetan influence over the place and one could never miss the monasteries in Bir Billing, which is also one of the main attractions besides paragliding and adventure sports.
Barot is a part of Uhl River valley and it is considered one of the best places in India for adventure activities. You can go for Barot Valley Trek, fishing or camping while here.
While in Barot, you can go on and explore Nargu wildlife sanctuary which lies across the Uhl river in Mandi district. It has acres of dense forests, tall alpine trees and good hiking trails. An evening hike into this wildlife sanctuary is a must as you will be able to see serene sunset and many types of flora and fauna.
Meet up at R K Ashram Marg/ Majnu Ka Tila. leave for Bir By AC Volvo. Approx 13 hour's overnight Journey .
Arrival at Bir in the morning. After completing check-in formalities have some rest in your stay. After fresh-up Take Breakfast and start your day with beautiful view of Bir.
Bir is located in kangra valley Himachal Pradesh. Bir is famous for second highest paragliding point in the world and Tibetan Colonies. Also a hub of monasteries.
You will visit largest Monastery of Bir Paplung Sherabling Monastery in Bhattu ( you can do mountain biking to reach this Monastery on your own expense) , Chokling Monastery, Colourful Nyingma Monastery, get opportunity to learn about Deer, in Deer Park Institute, see production of tea in Bir Tea factory and a shirt walk to Bangoru waterfall.
In evening head back to your Hotel. Have dinner, overnight stay in Hotel.
After your delicious breakfast, get ready for Paragliding from Billing to Bir. It will take 2 hours maximum from Bir to reach Billing. Bir Billing is one of the best places for paragliding in the world.
After reaching Bir transfer to Barot. Which will take maximum 3 hour's. After check-in formalities. Have some rest and get ready to enjoy sightseeing of Barot. It's a beautiful valley with pleasant temperature. Barot Valley is also famous for Throut Fishing. One can enjoy this activity over here. You will explore Nargu Wildlife sanctuary which is home of Monals, black Bear, Ghoral and woods of Oak. Alsopero walk through the ceder and pine forest. In evening back to your hotel. Enjoy your dinner with beautiful scenery and overnight stay in Barot Hotel.
After delicious breakfast, check out from your Barot hotel. Start your day with famous old Barot temple and enjoy loacal market of barot Valley. Collect some souviner and visit Uhl river. Which is the only natural body in Barot valley. After that head towards bir for your departure. Overnight journey to Delhi with wistful memories.
Reach in Delhi next day morning.
